Jardin des plantes

This is one of the very old trees near the Cuvier entrance to the Jardin des Plantes. Ch had the afternoon off school today so we visited this park and its zoo, the oldest in Europe. We agreed that the monkeys and flamingos were the most fun to watch and both got a good laugh out of the fact that they had exhibits of squirrels and racoons! There was a crowd in front of the squirrels' cage, taking pictures and everything.
