What a way to see the day in, this guy had the surf all to himself. It wasn't that big mind you!

I'm not sure what this technique is called, but instead of lying face down on the board and paddling with hands, these guys stand and have one long paddle.

I've yet to see them successfully catch a decent sized wave, they usually fall over as soon as it hits, but here he is riding a smallish one!
