Sauciehall Sax

So glad I had planned to go to Glasgow today.

Firstly because it wasn't a lovely day like yesterday as I really hate wasting precious time I could be spending out on the hills on a fine day, so heading off in the morning bus in the poring rain wasn't such a trial. Very relaxing reading on the bus as we headed to Glasgow . Amazing what you can see from the bus that you never see from the car. All the waterfalls are cascading with great force down the hills and the mist was sitting there half way up the Arrocher Alps. very atmospheric.

The second reason I was glad I had gone today was this fellow in my blip. he was playing with a trio in Sauciehall Street and was streets ahead of the others. As the rain had stopped it was no problem to sit and listen as did many others.. and what a joy it was to hear the sax played so well. Off course I did ask if I could take some photos but the big problem was that they were busking in front of a shop which has been closed for ages, filthy windows and big red letters of the shop's name at the top oe windows. Had to spend some time getting the best angle for the shot and altered the levels and contrast to get rid of all the dust and muck from the windows. Wouldn't it be great if we could clean our windows etc with the touch of a button or slider. hey presto work all done!

LARGE
would be worth a look for the extra street detail in the shiny sax and he does have lovely curly red hair and the freckles to go with the red hair.

Hope you all had a good day.
