When is a black bean green?

.... when it's young?
No - when it's cooked!
That was a surprise....and actually a bit of a disappointment - I quite fancied black beans!
Anyway - it's lovely to still get 'produce' from the garden - my tomatoes continue to ripen with this wonderful 'Indian' summer!
