Friday flash-back

Out for a meeting and saw this for sale. I don't really drink ginger beer but this particular bottle reminded me of a long holiday I had with Mrs C and the kids when they were 5 & 3.

We spent 10 weeks traveling in Australia which included a stop in Bundaberg more famous for it's rum than ginger beer. I remember Mrs C thought Bruce had fallen overboard from a tourist boat into the crocodile infested river. I had taken him to the toilet, but for a few mad minutes the skipper thought he had lost a passenger, much to my amusement (but nobody else's especially Mum!)
