Arran's light

Looking out across the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran the light rained down for what seemed like ages and I ended up with a glut of dramatic images.

I shot this on the Nikon D3 with a .9nd hard grad filter to hold the sky but really could have done with one of those centre line grads with clear glass top and bottom....I've got one somewhere I'm sure but it would have been a long drive home to fetch it!

So as a reward for a nice Blip dinner is being had at Skipness Seafood cabin a mile or so down the road.

A result for this busman all round!!! :-)
