A new brew for the North East

Well, if I hadn't seen them for myself, I would never have believed that grapes would grow in the wild in Newcastle - spotted them today when I headed down to the Quayside again.

I'm thinking now that Newcy Brown has stopped being brewed up here, may be a new tipple is on the way - Wine from the Vine on the Tyne...probably less than a teaspoonful though at the mo!
