I meant to say 'some of my students work,' although on closer observation I have noticed that the one in the middle does look uncannily like a girl in Yr 9!

What beautiful day - we had a practice fire drill this afternoon which enabled me to spend a very pleasant 15 mins talking to

In other exciting news... I have just read on the BBC website that a type of Australian beetle will attempt to copulate with beer bottles!

Now I am not one to laugh at cultural steotypes (actually that last statement is a not entirely true) but a story about Aussies, beer and sex - why should we find this surprising!
