Running (Centerparcs day 4)

If there's one thing I'll remember about this holiday, it's Aidan's running around. He's loving it. With no real plans this afternoon, we asked Aidan if he'd like to go out for a walk, to which he replied 'yyyeeeeaaaahhh!' and started jumping up and down excitedly.

Aidan and I went swimming in the morning, and spent a good hour in the pool. He loved going down the slide, and I managed to convince him to go down the massive slide with me. I also took him into the rapids, and have never heard him laugh or seen him smile as much - he kept shouting 'woaah!', and every time we came out the end, he'd shout 'more!' or 'again!' - we must have went round about 10 times in total!

After lunch and a nap, we were out for a walk and stopped by the Village Centre. We took Aidan to the Adventure Playground - another park perhaps aimed at older kids, but with lots of toddlers running around. Aidan done really well - he scaled the wooden ramps up to the higher levels, and walked across the wobbly bridges and balance beams without hesitation (although he had to hold daddy's hand to balance). One of the balance beams was easily 10ft in the air and he didn't bat an eyelid. When he got to the top of the climbing frame, he then went down an absolutely massive slide on his own (with me following behind him), and then insisted on going down it again, and again, and again, and again...
