Cheap thermometers?

I just don't believe it. This is what the round thermometer showed on our patio mid afternoon . It was obviously wrong. After all this is Mid Wales. So I got another thermometer to cross check and that must be wrong too! Unless..... .. . So this is global warming!! Maybe.

Only joking. It is a really hot day. The round one is always on the patio and the other was still showing circa 80 f. back in its place in the shade.
