Echoes of Beatrix Potter

One of the farm kittens after just having been fed. He is getting quite adventurous now and rushes out to greet me with his mother when I take down their evening meal to the barn.

We are all getting very spoilt with this fine weather. But the boys are working so hard in the fields this week-end and tend to find it too hot. J returns to Cornwall after lunch tomorrow to milk cows. Once the corn has been drilled T can relax and hopefully sort out these cats - ie, a visit to the vet for a small operation is in order - if we can catch them! Oh, I forgot we still have the maize to bring in to the silage pit, but contractors will harvest that with a special machine.
