The Day I Snapped A Groin

Dawlish Warren is a strange old place. It's a small village that is caravan park heavy along with amusement arcades and the normal holiday maker attractions. In many ways it's just lost in the 1970's.

If you can get past this then you'll find a haven for wildlife and sunseekers alike. Quite beautiful.

The 1.5 mile long sandspit is protected from the some of the effects of erosion by a series of wooden groins.
