The Earl

In Sinclair Bay near to the village of Keiss, Caithness, lies at anchor the tug Anglian Earl. She is one of the two Coastguard emergency towing vessels the government has granted an 11th hour reprive from budget cuts on Friday.

However due to the very late change mind by the government there is no emergency cover until the government and the company who own the tugs strike a new contract. So meantime the tug remains at anchor off Caithness.
