European Sea Rabbit (Limosa lapina)

This is the rarely sighted 'European Sea Rabbit'.
It made a brief showing on the foreshore at Seafield, Kirkcaldy late this afternoon after I chanced an outing once the rain stopped at 3pm.

I managed to snatch his rare glimpse before it was frightened off by a dog-walker approaching the location.

Any resemblance to Limosa lapponica is purely coincidental.
