Checkered bandanas

There's this farm/ranch smack-dab in the middle of an affluent suburb. I used to live not even a mile away from monkeys, elephants, camels, dolphins, and many other kinds of animals at a world-famous zoo, and I sort of miss that. Today, I had the privilege of meeting some of my new distant neighbors: a Sicilian donkey, peacocks, horses, a sweet lamb, turkeys, and this angry duck.
