Scouting Bro

Bro1 was invested into his new Scout troop tonight, promise made without any mistakes and the proud recipient of a new necker and woggle along with a handful of badges to be sewn on his shirt.

He is off on his first overnight with the Scouts a week on Saturday so I'd best get busy with the needle and thread.


He has been involved in Scouting for a few years now, progressing through Beavers and Cubs in a nearby village which he loved every minute of. Joining the Scout troop in a different village was a bit daunting for him but he seems to have settled in well and has enjoyed sailijg, cycling and kayaking with them in the short time since he started so it looks like he will have years of great adventures ahead of him in Scouting.
