Don't jump!

I found this lovely ladybird on my curtain this morning so I took her outside where she sat on my balcony railings for about half an hour.

I decided to try and get a photo, like us Blipfolk do! I managed to get a couple of her having a look over the edge. She then turned around and lifted her wings. Photo opportunity! Except I wasn't quick enough and she flew away never to be seen again!

I wonder if she really was a girl?
