Whilst the past couple of days at work haven't been anywhere near as long as they could be in the past they've been longer than they generally have to be these days, though both ended on uppish "a-ha!" moments or pleasing presences or absences of observations, as applicable. Tomorrow can be cut short, or feature a different interesting route in. The last time I tried swinging north round the NEPN in the morning it turned out to be the warmest morning since mid-July, making it very sweaty as well as very crowded. Today was quieter and cooler, though took five minutes longer with all the faffing required at Haymarket, though part of the reason for going the anticlockwise NEPN route was to see what the current cone-fest looks like.
