"The Bobcat Hunters"
No quote today. Was set up to photograph at a local High School 50th reunion and these two have a story. They've known each other since grade school and one day when they were hiking up in the mountains as young lads they came across the carcass of a bobcat. Ingenious fellows that they were, they poked an arrow into the body (apparently they were out shooting or happened to have their archery sets with them) and brought the body back to town and claimed to have shot the deadly beast. They even got their pictures in the newspaper. Of course, back in the 1950s and before, bobcats and other predators were on a course for eradication in the U.S. and killing a bobcat, mountain lion, wolf, coyote, etc. was considered almost ones duty.
