bougainvillea

So, this morning at stupid o'clock Dermot took us to the airport (he's a lovely chap!) and we flew to the bottom of Spain for our holiday.

We're staying at Vejer de la Frontera, a beautiful white town in Andalucia at the holiday home of good friend and former-blipper Drew - maybe if I keep linking to his page he might take the hint and resume blipping?

Anyway, it's a lovely town, and is just as beautiful as its publicity. And as luck would have it, there are some beautiful bougainvilleas, which I promised to take a photo of for my colleague Amanda - she's never seen a bougainvillea, but likes the word...

Mrs BH doesn't think this is a very good representation of the beautifulness that is possible with a bougainvillea, but I think it's enough to give Amanda the right idea.
