Depart in Style

Rest in peace Steve Jobs. Awoke this morning to the sad news.

From Apple II to the first Macs and the iPad, I have used them all.

Lessons learned:

1. Usability. If you find it frustating to use you will use something else if you can.
2. Style. Two things that do the same; if one looks better than the other then that's the one you'll want.

Simple as that but 99.9% of the business world get these completely wrong, have just one of them, or get them in the wrong order.

Someone else had their funeral today down in Leith and their family sent them out in grand old style.

Rest in peace too.
