Winter on the way

For weeks now the sweeps have been knocking at our gates trying to arrange a time to clean the chimneys. Not easy when your b'nb guests are eating breakfast in front of the fireplace. Today though M. Joseph cleaned all three chimneys in half an hour and presented us with a certificate which we have to present to the pompiers if ever we need to call them out.
So, our flues are spruced ready for the moment we get our lums reeking. Hard to believe right now when it's still 30 degrees and T-shirt weather.
