Give me Red

Today 'the Dashami' (or the 10th day of the fortnight) is marked as the last day of the week-long celebration of Durga Puja. The day is concluded with the final rituals and worshiping the Goddess Durga. 'Sindur Khela' (playing with vermilion) is one of the ritual among the Bengali married women done on this day. Married women exchange 'Sindur' with each other and wish for happiness, prosperity, and a good married life.

This is a glimpse taken from Baghbazar Sarbajanin Puja, Kolkata.
