my eyes they cannot lie

If you could read my mind AKA LIBRARY CAMP!

Today has been mainly devoted to stressing about Library Camp. I'm looking forward to going but am very nervous about...

a) meeting lots of people I only know on Twitter
b) not knowing as much as everyone else about libraries

But, a year ago...I wouldn't even consider going to Library Camp. So, look at me...I'm growing.

Blip tonight is a visual representation of music and books!

Gladioli to remind me of Morrissey and my books in their baskets

I've been listening to some new music this week...*has it only been a week?*

and that has made me dig out some of my old music that has been difficult to listen to being entwined with memories and feelings. So I've played and loved and shared a couple of David Gray tracks and tonight I put on Gordon Lightfoot...

"If you could read my mind, love
What a tale my thoughts could tell
Just like an old-time movie
'Bout a ghost from a wishin' well
In a castle dark or a fortress strong
With chains upon my feet
You know that ghost is me
And I will never be set free
As long as I'm a ghost that you can't see

If I could read your mind, love
What a tale your thoughts could tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind the drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartaches come
The hero would be me
But heroes often fail
And you won't read that book again
Because the ending's just too hard to take"
