As part of our company centenary celebrations today was the inaugural lunchtime sauntering club (we're travelling around the world in 100 days)

Whilst others run, swim, cycle, etc we decided that sauntering was more our style - 12 k total between us wasn't too bad for 3/4 of an hour and we all got to see some bits of Birmingham that we hadn't seen before. The weather just about held out for us too.

This is another pavement 'plaque' from the Birmingham pavement trail - previously here - although I'm not so sure of the relevance as apparently it refers to couriers running through the jewellery quarter.
