I like my little point and press camera. But I have to admit that spending money gets results.

Went to see Jane Eyre, can't say it will stay with me as a definitive version, but having said that I could not fault it. They cut out the bits they had to cut to keep it within two hours. They were faithful to the dialogue without being pedantic. There were even one or two points where brevity was an improvement.

And the casting is brilliant.

I have the Timothy Dalton version on DVD somewhere, I may dig it out and review it.
