Nineteen

Although we have no idea of the exact date, when we adopted Kitkat, we were able to work out from her vaccination records that she had been born some time in October 1992.

October 2011 is therefore the month in which she - the older of our two cats - celebrates her 19th birthday.

Here we see the grand old lady enjoying a nap in the rocking chair, as befits her advanced age.
