The Corn Exchange, Leeds

Up to Leeds last night on the train having met J at Kings Cross for a hot date. Quaffed wine all the way up which might explain why no pictures taken. Checked into the Mint Hotel and went straight out to Jamie's Italian for a slap up meal and more wine.

Breakfast in the piazza at the Corn Exchange - what a beautifully restored building. Miserable weather outside, so we got a bus up to the university to see an exhibition on the history of Marks & Spencer... which was shut... Back into the city centre then via the city museum which was excellent, before hitting the shops and arcades and having tea and cake at Harvey Nichols.

Out for the evening to the Academy to see The Feeling, who were excellent as usual. Back to the hotel for a few cocktails in the lounge to end a really good day.
