Not So....Shy Little Hedgehog

Aiden had a 3hr dance rehearsal again this morning, once finished, a quick change at home, then we headed for our 'day out'.

We stopped at Arbroath Cliffs and then went onto Glamis Castle.

Wow what an impressive sight driving through the gates to the castle, looks like a fairy tale castle, and once you are closer, you realise just how large the castle actually is. We were guided through 10 principal rooms of the castle, from the 19th Century Dining Room to the 15th Century Crypt, so many things to see and info. to take in. Scottish history is so very interesting.

After the tour we went for a walk around the gardens, we visited the pet cemetary, the magnificent spreading Horse Chestnut where the Queen Mother played as a child. We saw some red squirrel, highland cattle and stumbled upon this little hedgehog, he stood dead still as we approached him, and even allowed us to creep a little closer to take a photo, then we left him in peace.
