Sunset on Lipno Dam

The Lipno Dam is a dam with hydroelectric plant constructed along the Vltava Rive. It is the biggest dam with the biggest water sheet in Czech Republic (the widest reservoir diffusion is up to 4km). Construction proper on the dam began in 1952, and the dam was completed in 1960. The dam is built along the highest-elevated stage of the Vltava River's cascade (roughly 726 metres above sea level). The dam contain several small island, the biggest on is called Tajvan.
Lipno is eminent for recreations, water sports and fishing.
