On the way to Refuge Corner

I went to Finstown and walked through the little wood of Binscarth. The track continues to Wasdale and I headed to the farm where the farmer has a whole load of old cars and tractors, lorries etc. and where I found an old bus which makes a great place to make coffee. But the farmer has now filled the bus completely with junk. So I had to make do with sitting in a derelict Mercedes truck for coffee. Still, it had a good view of the Loch of Wasdale. Actually a pretty good hide for birdwatching.

Took a couple of fungi shots back in the wood and noted a few swallows and a single great skua over Wide Firth, all heading away for the winter.
