Boy & barrel - Bradford

This is the infamous 'Boy & barrel' pub in Bradford.

Home of dreadful karaoke, alcoholics, cheap beer & some of the more colourful (think Frank Gallagher) characters of the city.

In fact it would be Frank Gallagher's spiritual home had 'Shameless' been set in Bradford!

Always wanted to go in but have never dared!

Im sure a gay, vegetarian, pacifist hippy like me would be eaten alive lol

Having said that I've been in a few 'Shameless' type pubs & working men's clubs with some real 'salt of the earth' types & had a great evening so who knows?

I'm surprised it's still there given that pubs are disappearing left, right & center due to supermarket cheap booze, cigarette bans & the credit crunch but judging by the signs up it may not be there much longer!
