Building the "leandre"

Once upon a time there was a copy of Colon's main ship (Santa Maria) in this pond in Caraca's Parque del Este (the central park in town) but some one though it was a symbol from the empire and they destroy the model to build this one: the Leandre. This is the first ship of the revolution against spanish people in 1800's in Venezuela.
There are few differences between the Santa Maria and this one; maybe the bigest difference could be some millions of dollars.
