Dispensed with

This is Ancoats Dispensary and is all that remains of a a beautiful old victorian hospital.

In an all to frequent story nowadays it was intended to be redeveloped but has fallen into such a state of disrepair they tried to sell it for £1 to anyone who had the millions to preserve it... no one came forward.

So now, through neglect, a building that still looked wonderful a few years ago has seen the roof collapse and the developers have applied to demolish it to be replaced by a glass lump.
