Wings

Work took me to Angel Islington today. The Angel was originally an inn near a toll gate on the Great North Road now the corner of Islington High Street and Pentonville Road.

There's masses of history around here and I will bone it up before my next visit, so I can blip a bit more intelligently. There's also a lot of wings around here. In the tube station there is a wrought iron sculpture of an angel.

These wings are above an ice cream parlour in the central square of an open air shopping centre.

In case Missymoo reads this - original 3 photos in Lightroom 3, then Photomatix Pro, back to Lightroom 3 for cropping, then Photoshop CS5, Topaz adjust, more lightroom 3 for mono conversion, cleaned up finally in CS5 again, then back to Lightroom 3 for storage.

Hey ho.
