Halley is only ever really mentioned in relation to his comet.

Our bloody landlord has renaged on his (verbal) agreement to give us until September before we have to leave (to move into the house we are renovating). We knew he was selling eventually and have duly vacated the premises on a Sunday afternoon for the last month or so to enable his solicitor to arrange viewings. We thought this would cement some ongoing reciprocal goodwill.

We now have an uncomfortable race against time to be out by the end of July. I suppse we will save money on rent but quite honestly having two small kids living in a partial buiding site is not something I am looking forward to.
