Dorchester

The Lott and Walne foundry lies on the side of the southern branch of the River Frome, on the north eastern edge of the town. They were engineers, ironfounders, millwrights and agricultural implement manufacturers who produced most of the local ironwork. A few drain covers still carry the name today.
