lantern

I took this with the lensbaby, though i'm not sure you can tell really.
I like to think of this as a little Japanese part of my garden but the acer is Japanese and the orange thing is called a Chinese lantern and I'm not sure about ginkgo so maybe just oriental then.

Are there occidental gardens in the orient?

There used to be bamboo there too but it lost out to some ladys mantle. No plum blossom, either.

Other news; My dalek has moved off the turret into a room in the castle now. His name is 'Dick' apparently. I'm not sure if that's a shortening of 'dalek' or 'Richard' though.
