Shovel-Nosed Ray.

I chose to put this picture on today, as you don't very often get a chance to see their translucent nose.

They sit on the bottom of the ocean bed and sometimes there are so many of them, it looks like a car park.

They are completely harmless.

Today has been very busy at work, with a sudden influx of overseas visitors.

The weather has been warm and sunny about 25C, but on the way home from work, the sky became very dark, there were a few drops of rain. As I got inside the front door, I heard the first roll of thunder. Then the heavens opened. It's still raining now, but not as much.
