Summer Golden Sun Makes Its Way Inside

I'm finding it difficult to take pictures and try to keep it up to par of the remarkable work here on blip. I guess I'm in luck. Dogs are always photogenic, at least I think so.

I normally only run blips through some lightroom color/noise/exposure adjustments but for the first time I did some more intensive photoshop work. This is my very first attempt to burn and dodge a picture not counting attempts at isolating objects in a white background. So please let me know how this worked out.
