Saddleback Pig.....

Actually a very lucky Saddleback Pig.

I went to my friends farm tonight and he was busy with a Vet and a RSPCA inspector who had just rescued 5 piglets and a Sow, there was also 5 cows and a Bull, also coming tomorrow is a horse, 6 sheep, more cows and one Goose, all these were rescued from a farm a few miles away, they were all staving and the hard part was shooting 3 other pigs and two cows which couldn't be saved.

It was a harrowing site and even my hardened farmer friend was moved by the story, and he volunteered to take them all in. The owner is likely to be prosecuted by the police, video evidence was taken of the remains of pigs, cows and geese that were lying around rotting around the one hectare small holding.
The animals had not a jot of food or water and the RSPCA couldn't say when they were last fed.

We managed to collect some windfall apples and the pigs were getting them down as sweet a nut, the rest of the animals were tucked up in the cow shed and feeding on sweet hay.
Tomorrow the vet will start a series of medication for all the animals.

BTW the B1 is the police evidence number for the crime.

Such people should be jailed I don't know what you think?
