Welcome to Australia

Cairns esplanade about 6am, just off the flight and it was already warm enough to contemplate a swim. We decided to wait and see the size of the crocs first and instead we headed out for breakfast. A little over excited to be in a country where we not only understood the language but you can also buy sweets, real sweets! (No more bean curd or mini kitkats!) To celebrate our niece Katie's first birthday (we missed the party) I had a full english and Andy enjoyed 2 coffees and a plate of pancakes and ice cream with 3 boats of maple syrup before the tiredness caught up with us and we went to sleep.
