The Great Barrier Reef

Wow what a day! We headed out on our boat Silverswift to the reef for a day of snorkeling (me) and diving (Andy). It was brilliant, we visited 3 different sites on the outer reef. Andy did 3 certified dives and saw blue spotted lagoon ray, Hawks bill turtles, a cuttle fish, Anemone fish (Nemo!), Parrot fish, blue sea starfish, crown of thorns star fish and literally millions and millions more. I saw lots including two turtles, one of which came up to the surface to breath and then dived back down.

I'm the one famed for travel sickness but ironically it was Andy who threw up this time, underwater whilst diving! Quite a skill!

Port Douglas tomorrow, its going to be a scorcher!
