The Road to Downton

Last back blip!!!!

On the way to Hampshire we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw this lorry on the M4. Mum and I love the ITV Period Drama Series Downton Abbey so you can see why we were somewhat amused to see this lorry.

However, according to their website, Downton is a leading independent UK logistics specialist. They have over 55 years' experience in providing high quality logistics solutions from transportation to warehousing and supply chain management. A far cry from Downton Abbey, produced by British media company Carnival Films for the ITV network. The series is set during the Edwardian era and the First World War in the fictional estate of Downton Abbey in Yorkshire, and features an ensemble cast. It was created and principally written by actor and writer Julian Fellowes.
