Gulls on the car in the rain

Had a nice breakfast this morning down by the marina. Took some nice pics for Blipping.
On return to the car I found these two birds sitting atop the roof of my car.
They flew off when I unlocked the car but returned quickly to see if I had any grain or crumb for them.
This is the moment when they realized I was not holding.
