Afternoon Tea with the Governor

Today was Zoe's turn to be presented with her Gold Duke of Edinburgh award at Government House by our marvellous Governor Marie Bashir - a remarkable woman.

Spoilt for choice today (unlike yesterday - my first ever backblip).

This Moreton Bay Fig is the most magnificent tree, and I love the contrast between the beautiful historic foreground and the city skyscrapers glimpsed through and under that wide-reaching and almost protective limb of the fig.
