Let There Be Rock

I popped in to see the AC/DC exhibition at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Museum today.

The ticket states "AC/DC: Australia's Scotland's Family Jewels."
The roots of AC/DC lie back in Australia, and before that Glasgow (Cranhill) where Angus and Malcolm Young, the musical core of the band were born (in 1958 and 1953, respectively). In 1963 they emigated to Australia, and the application for assisted passage is on display.

I'm not a massive fan but I thought the exhibition was excellent. Centre piece is a room at the end of which is a big screen and massive speakers belting out a classic live gig. So while you wander round looking at the exhibits there is a super atmosphere.

There is a competiton running at the exhibition so in case any of you are going, here are the questions in advance -

1. Name all members of the original AC/DC line-up?

2. Approximately how many copies of Back in Black have been sold in the U.S.?

3. Since 1974 how many studio albums have AC/DC recorded (Including Australian-only releases)?

4. Where did AC/DC play their first headline gig in the U.K. in 1976?
