Waving Reeds....

Saturday morning and the day lies ahead of me with nothing planned, no one to attend to ..... and it looks like the sun might stay out longer than 2 minutes!

The wonderful thing about being self employed, and running 2 businesses from home, is that there is a seamlessness to life....which mostly i love and it has this organic feel to it....work a few hours, take lunch when you want to (unless a customer is in the showroom), clean a cabin, take a phone call....it can be pretty busy but with the luxury of going for a walk mid afternoon, or having a wee nap. the flip side is that you never really feel like you have a real 'day off' - there is ALWAYS something that could be done, dealt with or thought about! Every now and then i realise this with a feeling of being denied....so today, being saturday and traditionally the 'weekend' I am taking the day OFF! not going anywhere near the studio...altho i do wonder how the cups are doing that i threw the other day (they have to be kept in a somewhat moist state to trim!), not doing any laundry, even altho it could be a good drying day....not making any phone calls, might not even do any dishes!!!!

So, now what.....the possibilities are endless!!!
