Strange lights in the sky?

One of life's little mysteries.... Unexplained lights in the sky.
My hopes on a rainy night for secret government plans or little green men invading were soon put to rest.
On such a horrible rainy night someone decided to set off about 50 or so Chinese Lantern thingies!!!
Oh well..
