Third time lucky?

This is Girdlers' Hall, home of The Girdlers' Company one of the 108 Livery Companies in the City of London.

I had never heard of Livery Companies before moving down south, this particular one has been around since at least the 13oos and the building is the third incarnation; the first was destroyed in the great fire and the second one in the blitz.

I think it's this sort of history that gives the city it's character; so much contrast between old and new.

Maybe I will see how many livery companies I can blip.
